| Review by D T: I have been in the area for a few years and drove by the Champlain Service numerous times never giving much thought about it other than it was just another gas station service place. I have never needed any service on my vehicle until it quit on me and i coasted into this location. I was pleasantly surprised at the knowledge and experience of staff. Just being plain honest and straight forward is what I look for and what i got. I appreciated how Peter helped me out and will definitely bring all my future automotive needs back to him. I have already started to refer anyone I know to give him a try. Thanks again Peter! |

| Review by Bill: Low mark for appearance of shop /storefront was due to a major renovation / remodeling in progress so that mark is not a reflection of my satisfaction with it. Thank God the service bays were still open because I absolutely needed the service at that time and I am very happy I didn't have to find a different shop. I am quite satisfied with my overall experience. |

| Took our car from out of province in to get an inspection. They looked it over and informed us what needed to be done to pass inspection (it was a few different things) they quoted us $1200-$3000 (the reason for the price gap was because they said there was a oil leak, and depending on how bad it was depended on the pricing.) We said okay and we?re okay with the price if that?s what had to be done. They had our car for 6 business days & called back saying the price would now be up to $4600 to pass inspection. We said no and went to pick up the car. (Within the 6 business days nothing was actually done to the car, it was only looked at) so we took it to another mechanic. The new mechanic passed the inspection?said the oil leak would have to be dealt with but not needed for a pass. We did not mind having to pay money to fix our car, but to go from $1200-$3000, then to $4600, then to bringing it to someone else and having the car pass? Something didn?t seem to make sense. |
